NATIONAL SOCIETY DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
GENERAL WILLIAM CAMPBELL CHAPTER
Radford, Virginia
2-055 VA, District VII
The General William Campbell Chapter of the NSDAR welcomes you to our site and we encourage you to visit our pages and to contact us. We would love to hear from you. Our Chapter was named in honor of General William Campbell, Revolutionary War Hero of the Battle of King's Mountain. General Campbell raised the first company in Southwest Virginia to fight the British. His wife was Patrick Henry's sister, Elizabeth. Although his life was cut short at the early age of 36, he had already achieved a growing fame as a leader in the expeditions against the British. We are forever grateful for the men and women who fought for freedom and who continue to do so.
